Parthian New Welsh Drama

Parthian are based in Cardigan/Aberteifi on the west coast of Wales and publish many of the playwrights working in and beyond Wales.
What we publish reflects a diverse contemporary Wales that is based around stories and perspectives from writers who are looking out or write about a wider world. Lloyd Robson is currently researching a book about Robert Mitchum, we have just published Roger Williams's play Mother Tongue about minority world languages and Now You're Talking a book of interviews with leading Welsh playwrights edited by Hazel Walford Davies which will be raising many questions in November.
We are aiming to produce a carnival of voices with an innovative range of drama, new fiction and poetry
reflecting a unique world of styles and stories from some of the best writers and dramatists working today.

Our drama list is extensive and includes the New Welsh Drama series as well as the first night drama playtexts.
