Submission Guidelines

We are looking for contemporary writing with something to say. An idea of the range of work we publish is usually useful.

We are looking for new submissions from September 2007 with a view to publication in our list for 2009.

Please submit the first thirty pages of your work with a one page synopsis of the full manuscript.

Please include a sae for full return of manuscript.

We aim to reply to all submissions within three months but are often unable to respond in any detail due to time constaints.

We are unable to accept Email submissions.

Founded in 1993 Parthain publishes contemporary Welsh fiction, drama and poetry in English, also translations of European fiction.
Titles include:
Work, Sex and Rugby, In and Out of the Goldfish Bowl, The Colour of a Dog Running away, Body Beautiful and the Library of Wales series



Books are a celebration and are launched with a few glasses of wine and some welsh cakes.

Full publication contract offered on acceptance.
Royalties paid annually.
